I remember admiring this painting (by my mother) as a youngster, so this has been a real honor to re-create in Illustrator. It means a lot to me to take a painting that was hiding in the closet, and make it so other people can appreciate it. I also love the fact that this has become a collaboration between my mom and me. :D

A few fun facts about Incense:

The Illustrator file is 37.7mb
It took me 2 months and 25 days to illustratoratize it ;)
1,325 objects make up this picture
Look closely, and see a doberman, a few flowers, a star and moon, some fish in a jar, a caterpillar, a bee, and a large bird

This is a pretty rad collab between your mother and yourself, you've vectored it well though I'd also like to see the original (possibly coax your mother into uploading it to her website if not already there)

The colours are jazz and the shapes are wonderful.
