I remember admiring this painting (by my mother) as a youngster, so this has been a real honor to re-create in Illustrator. It means a lot to me to take a painting that was hiding in the closet, and make it so other people can appreciate it. I also love the fact that this has become a collaboration between my mom and me. 
A few fun facts about Incense:
The Illustrator file is 37.7mb
It took me 2 months and 25 days to illustratoratize it
1,325 objects make up this picture
Look closely, and see a doberman, a few flowers, a star and moon, some fish in a jar, a caterpillar, a bee, and a large bird
